Searching for Sid Davis

On July 29, 2022 we received an email message from a supporter in Indiana telling us that they had information about some haunted location within their area and wanted to know if we were interested. This began our research and quest to find out more about Sid Davis.

To explain the importance of this gentleman in history, we put together this vlog post to help explain a little better. Our interest was peaked since he was from our hometown of Youngstown, Ohio.

This photo is a still of Sid Davis after stepping off of Air Force One, tasked with explaining the swearing in of President Lyndon B. Johnson.

Some of the other videos we have found with Mr. Davis talking. This is some really great historical information.

Unfortunately, this museum (the Newseum) is permanently closed. It said on their website that all of the artifacts have either been put in storage or returned to their original owner. That had the above artifacts in the museum (which we did not visit when we were in Washington, D.C. last!) plus other interesting items such as the original camera that Zapruder used in Dallas and person items of Lee Harvey Oswald. Hopefully these items will surface again or wind up in other museums.

Please let us know down in the comments if you know anything more about Mr. Sid Davis. We are still doing research and will update this post (and VLOG) if we find out any more information.
