On September 29, 2024 we travelled back to Gettysburg, this time to visit the real Annabelle the doll.
The main purpose of this trip was to attend the Warren's Seekers of the Supernatural 2024, which was held in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. As part of this paranormal conference, part of the Warren's museum collection was brought down to Gettysburg, so we decided we needed to take advantage of this opportunity to go and pay our respects. Marianne had purchased these tickets and got our room reservation back in April. This is why we waited until late September to make our annual trip to Gettysburg.
On a side note, this was a bit of a celebration for us, since it was our first time back to Gettysburg since Marianne was diagnosed and went through her treatments. The day before we headed out to Gettysburg, Marianne had her 1 year follow-up with her ecologist surgeon who verified she is in remission.

While at the event we were able to get some pictures and autographs with some of the paranormal celebrities as well:
Of course, the real Annabelle the Doll is a Ragedy Anne Doll. The doll does not actually look like the one that they created for the movies; however, the movie prop was also there as part of the Warren's Collection.
Another item that we got to see as part of the Warren's collection is a piece of the plane from flight 401. We covered the story about Flight 401 in the past on one of our radio segments, and it was a surprised to see an artifact from that plan.
The basic story about Flight 401 was; In the months and years following the crash, stories began circulating that numerous employees and passengers of Eastern had reported sightings of deceased crew members Loft and Repo sitting aboard other L-1011s (including, in particular, N318EA). These stories speculated that parts of the crashed aircraft were salvaged after the investigation and refitted into other L-1011s. The reported hauntings were said to be seen only on the planes that used the spare parts.

This was the first time that we attended a paranormal conference that was hosted by the organization representing the Warrens. It was a great trip and will most likely attend on of their conferences again in the future.
